MIXED MEDIA / COLLAGE / MONO-PRINTING
As an artist I am most happy when I am creating work that seems to have a life of its own. Working with the myriad of techniques needed to create exciting and meaningful collages and mono-prints, I find that discovery drives creativity.
Bits and pieces - scraps and scribbles - collecting text, images, textures, making interesting original papers and combining them with acrylic, wax, and assorted mediums provide material for hours of concentrated artmaking. I have learned to trust my intuition and allow things to happen! When I am working, I am “in tune” with my inner artist.
